DC Builders recently completed a full reclad of a family home in Folkestone Street Murrays bay.  We caught up with the home owners Peter & Sue Shalfoon and asked them a few questions about DC Builders.

What made you choose DC BUILDERS over the other companies in your area?
We got to know Mel and Justin when they were working on our neighbours home who had commissioned DC to reclad their home, so we had the advantage of observing their daily practises and general work ethics before we commissioned them in the end it was a no brainer, we had them costing our job well before they had completed our neighbours, we were sure of their services then and we were definitely very happy with the end result.

How did you feel the process went from start to finish?
Perfect, to be honest I gave the boys plenty of space and they responded with a turn-key project, clear concise pricing, extras (we all have them) were always detailed and clear.

How did you feel the communication was between you and your project manager?
In a few short words “it would be hard to beat it “Excellent. Its Mel’s super strength

Do you have any tips for other potential renovation clients?
check the design….then check it again…..and then again…once its built ITS BUILT and ask for these guys opinion they have some great tricks in there bag.

Were you happy with the subtrades that you had in your home?
Mostly yes we did have the advantage of being able to watch all in action and choose to change a couple but really only because we had existing relationships through our own business.

If you were to sum up your entire experience with DC BUILDERS what would it be?
Simple….. For what was supposed to be a very stressful process (as told to both myself and my wife by numerous people)…. then simply do yourself a favour and engage these guys its better for your health.
